As the sun sets over the small community of Grand Point, Louisiana, I count my blessings. My family members are safe. We made it through Hurricane Katrina.
I am still trying to find some of my friends from New Orleans.
I pray that God is keeping them safe. Please pray for us as we clean up and re build.

What a lovely blog you have. We also live in South Louisiana. Cappy rode out the Storm on the tugboat in Morgan City, but I left with our two dawgs, a young woman from New Olreans and her two cats. We finally found a hotel in Dallas that would put up with all of us. No real damage in our small town either, Thank God. Our hearts go out to those who suffered and who are still suffering.
